… isn’t that what happens in the winter? The media makes such a big deal about some snow but it was actually pretty rough getting around in and around the New York City yesterday. (Not that I would know, because I stayed in and watched from my window) Here are some shots by my Instagram pals of last night and this morning:
Top left, Sunny and messy in the Meatpacking District looking up Washington Street toward The Standard (someone put a smiley face on my car piled with a foot of snow); Kristin got a shot of the Apple Store on Fifth Avenue which had one if its towering windows cracked by an overzealous snow plow (replacement cost? $450,000!); Donna Karan shot of a yellow cab trying to get around (this isn’t Donna herself, or this would be shot from the backseat of a chauffeur-driven SUV, no doubt); Middle row, James Auguiar shot of Rockefeller Center getting blasted; two shots by April Palmieri of Brooklyn this AM; Bottom, Anh Duong’s view of the street below; two shots by Stefan Hengst looking out his window in Chelsea.
